The Better Sister 2025 Tv Show Review
Tonight my wife and I watched the first episode of this 8-episode miniseries. We usually at least give a chance to any made-for-streaming our subscriptions come up with. This one is on Prime and the first episode runs right at 60 minutes. When it ended I asked if my wife was interested enough to watch additional episodes and she said “Yes, it seems like an interesting mystery.”
In the first episode we are presented with two big issues. First, a murder, and with clues we are presented it isn’t clear who might have done it. Then we are presented with the tension between the estranged sisters. The victim has been husband to both of them.
Jessica Biel is the younger sister, Chloe, a prominent executive with a Manhattan firm, her husband is an attorney. They have a son, about 16 we figured. But they have only been married for almost ten years.
The other sister lives in Cleveland, OH, and has been sober for five years, clearly not yet living the good life. She is played by Elizabeth Banks as Nickey. The son is actually hers.
To me t is off to an interesting start. We will likely watch additional episodes each night, I will update my comments as we wat5ch more of the series.
