Little Brother 2026 Movie Review
Little Brother (2026) is a comedy movie streaming on Netflix that follows a famous real estate agent as his life gets disrupted when his eccentric little brother unexpectedly reappears back into his life. I did watch some of the marketing for this movie and I decided to give it a chance and I have to say the movie was pretty good.
Positives for Little Brother (2026): The story works well enough for what it is and we have seen this story down many times in the past. The cast does a good enough job at making the movie work for the most part. John Cena and Eric Andre are good as the main brothers, who are now in these ridiculous situations, and they make the scenes work. The supporting cast is perfectly fine with Michelle Monaghan and Christopher Meloni being among them. The movies has a fine pace that moves the story well enough. The whole “Big Brother-Little Brother” show is a serviceable idea for the story. There are typical moments that will have some people laughing for better or for worse. And finally, the emotional moments are effective enough at getting you to feel the right feelings especially during the third act.
Negatives for Little Brother (2026): This is a story that has been done so many times and it brings nothing new to the table aside from the reality show being a part of the narrative. The comedy was standard, safe and very tired with the variety in the movie. Despite Eric Andre being good as the little brother, his character got on my nerves with his dumb antics and he made John Cena look like a fool for letting him back into his life. You also have these two TV producers, who are so annoying with their ideas and they are so stupid whenever something bad happens and they think it’s apart of the show. Then, you have the cliched “liar revealed” trope that gets dragged out until a certain point and when it happened, my reaction was pretty mid at best And finally, this is just your typical generic background noise movie that we get from these streaming services nowadays.
Overall, Little Brother (2026) is a pretty standard comedy movie from Netflix that you can watch at home with friends and family and it works as good background noise for other activities.
