GOAT 2026 Movie Review
As far as movies go, this isn’t the “Greatest of All Time”, but it’s certainly not the worst. In fact, this is a movie the whole family can enjoy. Whether or not you’re into sports, I think you’ll find something enjoyable in it. Simply because it encourages you to “Dream Big”.
The visuals are spectacular. I really enjoyed how simple the animations were in the background while at the same time being so big and vibrant in the foreground. It captured the essence of this world ever so nicely.
The voice acting is excellent. The actors selected to each character fit perfectly. No one felt out of place. I also really enjoyed how the animals were animal-like. It wasn’t just them acting as “people”, but rather falling into some of their animalistic ways sometimes.
The story was surprisingly emotional. Despite the whole underdog story being done time and time again, not all of them illicit an emotional response in me like this one did. The story of never giving up, following your dreams, and believing that no matter your size, you can achieve your goals, was what really made this a passionate film.
Overall, children and parents alike can enjoy this film together. The music rocks, it’s got a fantastic story, and there are funny parts throughout. Great underlying life lessons that make it emotional and encouraging. While I’d recommend seeing it in 3D and in theatres, it won’t be necessary to see it in 3D to find enjoyment, but I would definitely recommend seeing it in theatres.
