The Boroughs 2026 Tv Show Review
Just finished this series in a single day. I was completely glued to it!! It absolutely achieved what it set out to do. I thought it was a really smart direction for the brothers to take. After Stranger Things focused heavily on a younger cast, The Boroughs shifts to an older cast, and it works brilliantly.
Alfred Molina’s performance was incredible. I honestly have no words. I was completely captivated by his character and felt every ounce of pain, happiness, and despair throughout his psychological journey.
The set design also deserves so much praise. Every location felt immersive, adding so much atmosphere to the story. The world felt lived in, eerie, emotional, and believable all at once. You could tell how much care went into every detail, from the lighting to the overall aesthetic. It never felt overdone or artificial, it pulled you deeper into the story and perfectly matched the tone of the series.
Just like the set, every character felt intentional, they truly had a place in the story. Nobody felt unnecessary or forgotten. Each character brought an important element that was primal to bringing the show together , whether it was emotional weight, tension, comfort, wit or perspective, and that balance made the whole series feel even more complete.
Do yourself a favour and watch this right now!
