It’s an amazing documentary that connects some real homicide/feminicide with the complex justice and socio-political Mexican system.
Sayuri, the protagonist of this documentary, is the head prosecutor of the office dealing with feminicide in Mexico City and the doc does a great job in explaining where she is coming from and why she has accepted the job.
No doubt that she is the gravitational center of this work and for the right reasons. Her humanity, her capacity to connect with the victims and the dedication to her job but also the difficulties that comes with it are at the center of the documentary. If you want to have an idea of where the Mexican society is in relation to women rights, don’t miss this one.
